Day by Day

Day 1London - Madrid - Lima

Fly from the UK to Lima with a change of planes in Madrid. Arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 2Lima - Cuzco

Transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Cuzco. Arrival transfer to hotel and afternoon to relax and acclimatise to the altitude.

Day 3Cuzco

Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of Cuzco and nearby Inca ruins.

Day 4Cuzco - Sacred Valley of Incas

This morning you will be collected from your hotel for an excursion into the stunning Sacred Valley. Your guide will show you some of the highlights including Incan ruins and colourful local markets. At the end of the day you will be taken to your hotel in the valley.

Day 5Sacred Valley of Incas - Machu Picchu

This morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the train station in order to travel to Machu Picchu. Your guide will spend the day with you conducting a tour of the ruins (entrance fee included). You will then be taken to your hotel.

Day 6Machu Picchu - Cuzco

Another opportunity to return to the ruins and explore by yourselves, at your own pace. Entrance fee to the ruins to be paid locally before taking the train back to Cuzco and be met at the station . You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Day 7Cuzco - Iquitos

You will be collected from your hotel again to return to the airport. From Cuzco, you will fly to Iquitos via Lima. Arrival transfer to your boat and welcome aboard. Set sail for the Pacaya Samaria Reserve.

Day 8Iquitos

Amazon excursions from your boat.

Day 9Iquitos

Amazon excursions from your boat.

Day 10Iquitos - Lima

Amazon excursions from your boat followed by disembarkation and flight back to Lima.

Day 11Lima

Morning city tour of Lima before transferring to the airport in time for your flight home.

Day 12Madrid
