Day by Day

Day 1London

This evening you will fly from London to Madrid.

Day 2Madrid - Lima - Arequipa

Connect in Madrid you with your flight to Lima. You will be met in Lima where you will be assisted with your connecting flight to Arequipa, known as the "White City" due to the colour of its sillar architecture. You will be met and transferred to your hotel and you will have the afternoon to relax and acclimatise to the altitude.

Day 3Arequipa

Today you will have a private city tour that will include a visit to the lovely Santa Catalina convent.

Day 4Arequipa - Colca Canyon

Travel by road through stunning scenery into the Colca Valley. You will pass herds of grazing llama and vicuna at altitudes of over 4500m.

Day 5Colca Canyon

Morning excursion to "Condor`s Cross," one of the deepest points of the canyon, and from where you will have an excellent opportunity to see the Andean condors circling just above your heads.

Day 6Colca Canyon

A free day in Casitas del Colca to undertake many of the activities included in your stay, including walking, horse-riding or simply relaxing in your private heated plunge pool.

Day 7Colca Canyon - Titilaka

Today you will drive across the high Andes through more stunning scenery to Lake Titicaca and your lakeside hotel, Titilaka.

Day 8Titilaka

Group excursions from Titilaka including trips on to the beautiful lake, walking and visiting local villages.

Day 9Titilaka

Further excursions will be available today.

Day 10Titilaka - Puno - Cuzco

Transfer across the stunning altiplano through on the Andean Explorer train. A real treat of scenery and comfort.

Day 11Cuzco

Private half day city tour of Cuzco and a number of the nearby Incan ruins.

Day 12Cuzco

Full day privately guided tour of the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit a colourful local market as well as the impressive Inca ruins at Pisac and Ollantaytambo.

Day 13Cuzco - Machu Picchu

This morning you will depart Cuzco and board the Hiram Bingham train through the Sacred Valley to the village of Aguas Calientes below the ruins. Here you take a bus up the hill for your first glimpse of the ruins. You will then have a guided tour before being left at your hotel at the gate of the ruins.

Day 14Machu Picchu - Cuzco

Today you will have your guide for further exploration of Machu Picchu before taking the evening Hiram Bingham train back to Cuzco.

Day 15Cuzco - Lima

Morning free in Cuzco for one last exploration before transferring to the airport in time for your flight to Lima and then on to Madrid.
