Cruises in The Galapagos Islands

MC Athala II
MC Athala II

Your choice of cruise vessel is the most important decision you will make when planning your perfect Galapagos trip.

Vessels vary in size from small (8 to 20 passengers), medium (40 to 50 passengers) and large (90 passengers and more), the advantages and disadvantages of each size being detailed below.

Of course, your decision may be regulated by your budget. As a general rule the medium sized boats are the most expensive, followed by the large vessels. The small boats are the most numerous and therefore vary widely in price.

Audley favourites

The vessels featured here are only a selection, but they are our personal favourites based on our own inspections and they receive consistently glowing reports and endorsements from Audley clients.

We insist upon vessels with excellent naturalist guides, crew and food and all vessels featured have cabins with single, double or twin beds, windows and private facilities as well as air-conditioning.

All have the highest safety standards and snorkelling equipment is available for hire on all the vessels.
