The Galapagos Islands
This comfortable boat is one of the simpler that we use at Audley. However, we do not wish to compromise on the services provided by the boat and Cachalote certainly retains a great crew and an excellent reputation for its naturalist guides.
The Cachalote is a schooner rigged motor sailor.
Recently re-modelled to meet all security standards, the Cachalote accommodates 16 passengers in her eight cabins.
Small but clean, the cabins comprise bunk beds (single lower and single upper bed) and are situated below deck, lit by a single porthole. There is one cabin on the main deck behind the restaurant (cabin eight) which does have a double bed and offers more natural light through its larger window. All cabins are air-conditioned (centrally controlled) and come with private bathrooms with hot and cold water showers.
There is a decent amount of space on three different wooden decks with seats and cushions to relax in the shade or sunbathe during the cruise.
