Galapagos Cruises

Your choice of cruise vessel is the most important decision you will make when planning your perfect Galapagos trip.

Cruise Ships in The Galapagos Islands: La Pinta

La Pinta started operations in Galapagos in April 2008. With outstanding guides, excellent food and the most modern facilities of any vessel we use in Galapagos she has quickly become one of our favourite medium sized vessels operating in the archipelago.

La Pinta

48 Passengers

La Pinta is the newest of the medium-sized vessels in the Galapagos and has been extensively renovated with expedition cruises in mind. She offers the highest standards of service, guiding and food whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.

Despite being a relatively large vessel, La Pinta accommodates just 48 passengers in 24 spacious and beautifully-appointed suites with large picture windows.

It has been designed to cater for the most discerning travellers, offering high standards of service and food whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.

Activities like snorkelling, swimming, whale and dolphin watching and island walks are led by experienced naturalist guides and the evenings include lectures and discussions on the animals to be seen the next day.

The boat features a large observation lounge, library, Jacuzzi, small gym, plenty of deck space for star gazing and, like Isabela II, has a glass-bottomed observation boat and kayaks that can be used as an alternative to snorkelling excursions.
