Day by Day

Day 1London - Madrid - Caracas

This morning fly from London to Madrid to connect with your onward flight Caracas. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel located on the coast.

Day 2Caracas - Puerto Ordaz - Canaima

This morning you will fly to the town of Canaima, nestled deep in the jungle and accessible only by plane. In the afternoon you will explore the nearby lagoon. Wear your swimsuit and enjoy a refreshing "natural hydromassage" standing under one of the many waterfalls ringing the lagoon.

Day 3Canaima

Today you will journey up to the base of the Angel Falls. You will begin the journey by motorised canoe and then trek the final short distance through the jungle to the highest waterfall in the world. Spend the evening surrounded by the sounds of the jungle in a basic hammock camp.

Day 4Canaima

This morning you will head downriver back to Canaima, taking in the stunning scenery of the table-top mountains. In the afternoon swim in the lagoon or relax in one of the lodge's hammocks, listening to the thundering sound of the nearby waterfalls.

Day 5Canaima - Puerto Ordaz - Caracas

This morning you will take a series of flights from Canaima back to Caracas. On arrival, return to your hotel here for one night.

Day 6Caracas - Los Roques

Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight to the Caribbean islands of Los Roques. On arrival walk to your posada. Head out today to one of the cayes.

Day 7Los Roques

Head out to one of the local, uninhabited islands which offer pristine white sands and turquoise waters.

Day 8Los Roques

Perhaps do some diving in the incredibly clear waters surrounding the islands.

Day 9Los Roques

Today you could take an optional excursion to explore some of the more far flung islands including Cayo de Agua where you can walk along a sandy beach to the lighthouse.

Day 10Los Roques

Relax in the sun with a delicious picnic, or snorkel in the warm waters.

Day 11Los Roques - Caracas

Fly back to Caracas to catch your overnight flight back to Madrid.

Day 12Madrid

This afternoon connect with your onward flight back to the UK.
