Day by Day

Day 1London

Fly from London to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific.

Day 2Hong Kong

Hong Kong boasts a clean and efficient rail link which will whisk you from the airport to your Kowloon hotel in around twenty three minutes.

Day 3Hong Kong

You have today free to explore Hong Kong, one of the most exciting regions in Southeast Asia. Take in the views of Hong Kong from the ferry crossing, or take a ride on the peak tram and spend a few hours enjoying the array of shopping opportunities available.

Day 4Hong Kong

Another day to spend at your leisure. An interesting day trip is to take the ferry to Macau.

Day 5Hong Kong - Phnom Penh

Take the airport express back to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You have a day to explore this capital city which has emerged from its turbulent past to become a safe and cosmopolitan city.

Day 6Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

The drive between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap takes about five hours but is worth the time as it will allow you to get a glimpse of rural Cambodia. For those with a keen interest in temples you could take a side trip to visit the pre-Angkorian temple of Sambor Prei Kuk, an interesting precursor to Angkor Wat.

Day 7Siem Reap

Today visit the unparalleled monument of Angkor Wat. Let your guide provide you with an indepth and interesting introduction to the most famous of the Khmer temples. Afterwards you will visit the famous Tonle Sap lake and take a boat to visit the floating villages known for their stilted houses.

Day 8Siem Reap

In the early morning visit one of our favourite temples, Ta Prohm. By far the most atmospheric of all the ruins, it has been reclaimed by the jungle and is being crushed by massive tree roots. Seeing this temple at dawn avoids the crowds and allows you to witness the temple emerge slowly from the dark until it reveals itself in all its ruined finery. Later you get to visit the Bayon, the temple made famous by its enigmatic faces carved into the stone.

Day 9Siem Reap - Koh Samui

After a leisurely breakfast you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Koh Samui in Thailand. On arrival you will be met and driven to your hotel.

Day 10Koh Samui

There is plenty to keep you busy on the island of Koh Samui or you can choose just to relax by the pool!

Day 11Koh Samui

A day to spend at your leisure or explore the island.

Day 12Koh Samui

A day to spend at your leisure or explore the island. Hire a Four Wheel drive vehicle and head into the jungle clad interior of the island.

Day 13Koh Samui

A day to spend at your leisure.

Day 14Koh Samui

Private transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Here you will have a long layover for your onward flight but there is plenty to do at the airport, or you could even venture back into Hong Kong for a few hours to do some last minute shopping.

Day 15Hong Kong

International flight on Cathay Pacific to London Heathrow.
