Day by Day

Day 1London

Fly from London to Singapore this morning.

Day 2Singapore - Siem Reap

On arrival connect onto your onward flight to Siem Reap. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 3Siem Reap

Begin your exploration of the magnificent temples of Angkor today with an exploration of the enigmatic Ta Prohm at dawn. You may chose to head back to your hotel for some relaxation time or continue exploring should you wish. After lunch continue with a visit to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, which houses the charismatic faces of the Bayon. Finish the day with a sunset visit to Cambodia's most iconic symbol, Angkor Wat.

Day 4Siem Reap

A day to explore further a field taking in one of Audley's favourites - Beng Melea. Witness here how the jungle has reclaimed its territory with unrivalled ferocity to produce staggering results. Continue your day away from the crowds to visit the river of a thousand lingas, Kbal Spean before marvelling at the pristine pink sandstone bas-reliefs at Banteay Srei.

Day 5Siem Reap

A final day to continue exploring the temples of Angkor - speak to your guide to discover new temples or perhaps revisit some of your favourites from the previous two days.

Day 6Siem Reap

Time to experience something different and escape from the temples and town of Siem Reap with a boat trip on Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, the Tonle Sap. Visit some of the floating markets and experience the remarkable daily life of the people's lives which are so entwined with this unique biosphere. Keep your eye out for some rare birdlife too! The afternoon is free to spend at your leisure.

Day 7Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

This morning your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. Arriving in the capital city you will check in to your hotel before embarking on a tour of the city's cultural highlights, such as the Royal Palace and National museum.

Day 8Phnom Penh

Today you will have a sobering experience exploring the recent turbulent history of a nation virtually destroyed by civil war. Your guide will take you to the Killing Fields outside Phnom Penh and also to the genocide museum, a stark reminder of the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge. This afternoon is free for you to explore the city by yourselves, you could have a wonder around the Russian market.

Day 9Phnom Penh - Kep

This morning your driver will meet you at your hotel and take you to the coastal village of Kep. This quiet fishing village is the ideal place to relax at the end of your holiday.

Day 10Kep

Day at leisure. Thoroughly recommended is a day trip to nearby Rabbit Island, where you can relax on the beautiful beach and enjoy dining on freshly caught crab.

Day 11Kep

Day at leisure.

Day 12Kep

Day to relax.

Day 13Kep - Phnom Penh - Singapore

Today you return to Phnom Penh for your flight to Singapore. In Singapore you change planes for your flight home.
