Your flight to London departs this evening.
In Bangkok you change planes for your flight to Phnom Penh. Arriving in the capital your Cambodian guide and driver will be there to greet you and take you to your hotel.
This morning you have a half day tour around some of the city`s cultural sights including the Royal Palace and National museum.
In the afternoon you have the chance to visit the harrowing Cheong Ek Killing Fields and S21 museum. Both are emotive and interesting places to visit and provide the opportunity to learn more about Cambodia`s turbulent recent history.
The day is at your leisure. See some of Audley`s recommendations for shopping & time at leisure in this capital city.
You have a private transfer from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by road. Ask your driver & guide to stop when you want to make the most of photo opportunities on the way.
Rising early your guide will show you around Ta Prohm temple at dawn, seeing this `lost to the jungle` temple at this time lessens the chances of sharing the experience with lots of other tour groups.
This afternoon you visit the sister temple of Ta Prohm, Preah Khan, which was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century.
Travelling further a field you can visit the vast ruins of Beng Melea, which like Ta Prohm has been consumed by the jungle. You then travel to the remote Angkor capital of Koh Ker.
This morning your guide will take you to the scenic Tonle Sap lake, where you can visit the floating village of Kompong Khleang.
In the afternoon you will visit the magnificent Angkor Wat with your guide.
On your final full day your guide will take you to the areas of Angkor Thom and the Bayon, where huge stone faces peer over you as elephants and monks gently stroll by.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.
You will have the day to relax or explore any final temples. In the afternoon your driver & guide will ensure you arrive at Siem Reap airport ahead of your flight back to Bangkok and on to London
Arrive home in the early morning.
