Overview

Located by a seemingly endless stretch of white sand beach and the warm waters of the South China Sea, the Tanjong Jara's architecture reflects the styles of the Malay Archipelago and features luxurious rooms nestled in lush, tropical, landscaped gardens. The hotel is owned by the YTL group who also own four other properties in Malaysia and one in Bali.  The Tanjong Jara is situated just outside the small town of Kuala Dungun and the most convenient way to reach the hotel is from Kuala Terengganu airport which is about an hour away. There are several daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and here. You can also make your way to the resort on a longer road journey from up or down the east coast or even across from the Cameron Highlands or Taman Negara National park.
