A plethora of excitement in Singapore: 24-07-2008

Travellers heading off to the Middle East in search of adventure or perhaps on a romantic honeymoon will be wowed with the Singapore Sun Festival which runs between October 17th and 26th.
The annual arts festival celebrates the art of living well through music, literature, film, visual arts and food.
Singapore Tourism Board area director Jason Ong expects this years programme, with over 90 events, to be the biggest and best yet.
"Singapore continues to be a popular destination choice among Arab travellers due to the city’s wide selection of events and activities to cater to every taste," he told Albawaba.com.
"The Singapore Sun Festival comes right after the inaugural 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix and the Singapore GP Season in September – another major attraction for guests from this region.
"These events are just a few examples that will add to the range of exclusive experiences Singapore has on offer, making it a truly world-class destination."
The Singapore Grand Prix takes place between September 26th and 28th and will go down in history as the first ever Formula 1 race to take place at night.
