Visitors to Singapore will be able to take in Asia's biggest street parade.

The Chingay Parade of Dreams begins in front of the Supreme Court & City Hall in Singapore on the 16th February, with a preview parade taking place on the 15th for those who just can't wait to see the spectacle kick off in earnest.

Colourful floats and vibrant performers are characteristic of the parade as it makes its way along Raffles Avenue.

There are also a number of themed areas for revellers to enjoy which feature samba and belly dancers and a play zone which is full of inflatable slides.

Although it is possible to watch the parade for free anywhere along the route, the keener observer could pay for a ticket to take in the event from a viewing gallery.
