Sound and light festival in Thailand: 22-04-2008

One of Thailand's most attractive parks comes alive on the last Saturday of every month when the Phimai Historical Park hosts the Wimaya Nattakan Sound and Light Show, an event that encompasses both modern entertainment and cultural heritage.
The sound and light show reflects the glory of the ancient Phimai and the Khmer empire, and features dances that depict Buddhist religious practices, processions and the ancient boxing traditions of the Phimaipura or Vimayapura.
Meanwhile, there are exhibitions of Bai Sri Su Kwan dances, the Manohra Len Nam dance and the Dung Krok and Dung Sak mortar and pestle dances.
