Cambodia combines well with Malaysia’s hill stations and beaches. After a short visit to Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh you can head to Siem Reap where you have plenty of time to marvel at Angkor Wat’s vast temples. From here, fly to Kuala Lumpur and then drive into the Cameron Highlands. After exploring the tea plantations and walking to forest waterfalls, you fly up to the beaches of Langkawi to end the trip in ultimate relaxation.
Extensions
If you have time to extend the trip, you may wish to visit more of Malaysia by including a two- or three-night trip into the Taman Negara National Park or heading to colonial Malacca. It is also easy to extend this trip into Singapore or add on a pre-tour itinerary in southern Vietnam.
