Combining cities, river journeys, temples and hill tribes, this tour starts in the unassuming capital, Vientiane. After a couple of days exploring this pleasant city you fly up to Luang Prabang, where you will spend three days. Heading north, you will leave Laos by a scenic two-day cruise up the Mekong River, stopping in a remote jungle lodge for the night and culminating in the beautiful Golden Triangle region of Thailand.

From Bangkok it is easy to fly to any of Thailand’s beach resorts. Some of our favourites include the island paradise of Koh Yao and the excellent resorts on Koh Lanta.
