A little further south you will stumble upon the picturesque area of Muang La and the dramatic valley of Nong Khiaw before arriving by road or boat at the cultural centre of Luang Prabang.

A great new budget option in Luang Prabang, the Chang Inn is the sister hotel to the moreexpensive Chang Heritage on the Nam Khan.

Housing only eight rooms, the Chang Inn is full of character with a striking yellow facade and dark wood interiors.

Located at the quieter end of the main street, you are a short stroll from the bustling night market and Luang Prabang's most famous temple, Wat Xieng Thong. There is a small communal balcony at the rear and a pleasant courtyard provides an ambient setting for breakfast.
