Temple Tree at Bon Ton
Langkawi
Antique buildings of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian origin make up this boutique property set beside the already established Bon Ton Resort.
The small unique resort is located 10 minutes from the airport and five minutes from the main beach of Pantai Cenang. The guest rooms are antique Malay houses imported from all over the country, the interiors are all different with attractive colour schemes and furnishings.
They have air-con, tea/coffee making facilities and refrigerators and some have an outdoor, screened bath. Built within the grounds of a 100 year old coconut plantation, the houses are centred around a pool and front onto a serene lagoon.
The project was conceptualized by the owner to be able to extend her other passion project, Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation (LASSie).
A percentage of all profits go direct to LASSie, for the foundation to be able to continue its work on the island with stray animals.
