Guests are collected from their hotel and driven to the Batu Caves. Discovered 120 years ago by the American naturalist WiIlliam Hornaday, the caves quickly became a focal point for the local Hindu community.

You can explore the shrines at the base before an energy-sapping 272 step climb up to the Batu Caves, a sight of religious importance to Malay Hindus. The towering limestone caves house shrines and temples with figures of Hindu deities guarding the entrances.
