    There are several dive spots in PNG that are regularly voted as some of the best in the world and the remote nature of these means sharing them with very few people! Large pelagics and pristine coral reefs are combined with warm clear waters - a fantastic combination for any diver.

    The sight of 50 giant men dancing in front of you with bright green dresses made from grass, yellow mud painted faces, Bird of Paradise headdresses, bamboo sticks through their noses and machetes in hand is indeed as surreal as it sounds but these are the kind of encounters you can expect on a trip through PNG at festival time!

Perched above the fjords with awe-inspiring views this small resort provides comfortable accommodation in tasteful bungalows.

The standard guest rooms have air-con, en suite shower rooms, tea/coffee making facilities and a refrigerator and are accessed via the terrace. The new deluxe rooms are a little larger with a day bed,more luxurious furnishings and private balconies. The beautiful, colonial-style main building overlooking the swimming pool houses the bar and excellent restaurant.

Evenings are spent on the terrace enjoying a barbecue under the stars with just the sound of the waves breaking below. This diver’s paradise also offers a variety of trekking, bird-watching and village stays. Tufi airstrip is a five minute walk or two minute drive from the resort.
