The Halong Ginger, Halong Bay, Vietnam
Whether shrouded in mist or bathed in sunshine, the sheer island mountains of Halong Bay are one of Asia’s finest landscapes.
Cruising the calm waters through the limestone islets, you will see Vietnamese life at its most unspoiled and traditional, with families reliant on fishing for their livelihood waving from their floating homes.
The best way to discover the bay is an overnight stay on a traditional junk. You will have an opportunity to explore some of the local villages and sights on the bay, or simply relax on the viewing deck and absorb the beautiful scenery.
The food on board the junks is always a highlight; with fabulous seafood lunches and wonderfully tasty set menus in the evening.
If time allows, we highly recommend you extend your time on the bay even further by incorporating a two night trip in your itinerary. On your second day you will transfer to a smaller junk, which allows you to journey though some of the more remote areas of the bay. You will enjoy a day of cruising and kayaking before transferring back to the original boat for the evening.

All 24 cabins of the Halong Jasmine are beautifully furnished and spacious, with large picture windows offering panoramic views of Halong Bay’s spectacular limestone scenery.
One of the smaller junks available for private hire in Halong Bay, the Princess consists of one en suite cabin which can sleep two people.
The Valentine Junk is a smaller, luxury junk operating in Halong Bay. All cabins have air-conditioning, in-house phone, mini bar, slippers, hairdryer, bathroom amenities and bathrobe.
