Only an hour’s drive north of Chiang Mai, located in a green valley overlooking lush fields, this award-winning eco-lodge provides a sanctuary for the heritage of the Lisu people.
Built in traditional Lisu style, with an eye for western comforts, the lodge is a great place to relax and unwind as well as providing both adventure and insight. The Lisu are very welcoming and hospitable, food is homecooked and delicious, and nightly cultural music and dance makes for an enjoyable experience.
Two-day, one-night packages are available which may include a visit to a nearby elephant camp with the opportunity to take a ride through the mountainous jungle, go white water rafting, visit an Akha hill tribe village, take an ox cart ride through the orchards and learn more about the Lisu people and their distinctive culture.
