    There are more than 100 cultural minority groups in the Philippines, and around half of these have unique linguistic cultures. The most well known are the Ifugao, and their culture is alive and well around the rice terraces of Banaue.

    Most of the Philippine islands feature volcanic mountains, several of which have been increasingly active since the 1980s. The most accessible are Mount Pinatubo which last erupted in 1991 and Taal volcano one crater of which erupted in 1977.

The resort's 88 spacious rooms range in size from 45 square metres to 120 square metres and are all exclusively designed by distinguished Filipino designers Budji Layug and Royal Pineda. All rooms offer a terrace or balcony depending upon whether the room is ground floor or on an upper floor. All rooms also offer the following amenities:

Junior Suites

Spacious living area with day bed and armchair with views onto the small terrace or balcony area. King size or twin beds are floating in the main body of the room and separate the main room from a desk and small mini bar area. The shower room and wash basin echo the modern design of the room and are loaded with lots of toiletries for all guests.

One Bedroom Suites

Same as the Junior Suite in terms of feel of the bedroom but the layout of the room also includes a large separate lounge area as a second room in which to relax.

One Bedroom Deluxe Suites

Located on the third floor, these offer unobstructed views, some out to sea. The rooms offer the bedroom and separate lounge area which are the same as the One Bedroom Suites, with the advantage of having a loft area and a jacuzzi and spacious balcony area.

Two Bedroom Suites

Essentially the same as the One Bedroom Suites however with two bedrooms that are found at opposite ends of the large lounge area.

Two Bedroom Deluxe Suites

Located on the third floor and are set up like the One Bedroom Deluxe Suites but obviously offering two bedrooms, as well as the lounge area, views, loft area, jacuzzi and spacious balcony.
