Accommodation in The Philippines: Fridays

Probably the most well known resort on Boracay is Fridays. The 34 rooms are built in a traditional cottage style, and have either terraces or balconies overlooking the beach.

Rooms

The resort offers 16 Deluxe Rooms, 18 Premier Rooms and six new Premier Suites all built in the native cottage style. Each room offers bathrobes, complimentary abaca slippers, complimentary tea and coffee service, minibar, air condition, cable TV with DVD player, hot and cold shower, NDD and IDD phones, and individual electronic safety deposit box.

Deluxe Rooms

The Deluxe rooms are generally located around the swimming pool and courtyard at the back of the resort. They are the smallest of the rooms and all offer a Queen-size bed although some have an extra single aswell. All but two have their own balconies with chairs and hammocks but sadly no view.

Premier Rooms

The Premier Rooms are slightly bigger than the Deluxe rooms and offer a King-size bed and one or two extra day beds (single beds) as well. A welcome fruit basket is provided in the room upon arrival and delicious homemade chocolate truffles are served every turn down service. They are located further towards the front of the resort closer to the beach and all have balconies some of which boast partial beach views.

Premier Suites

Located at the top of the resort, higher up the hill are these luxurious, circular rooms with huge windows looking out over the resort towards the sea. They too have balconies with these great views, a very large bathroom with elegant bath tub and shower and the room itself is much bigger than the other room categories. Despite the opulence, they have still maintained the same original Fridays’ atmosphere and concept and are built in a traditional style.
