    From the UNESCO site of Halong Bay with its thousands of limestone outcrops to the Tonkinese Alps and lush green rice terraces of Sapa, Vietnam offers an abundance of stunning scenery and landscapes. Besides natural assets, there are plenty of other man-made photo opportunities such as the colourful floating markets of the Mekong Delta and the bustling streets of the Old Quarter in Hanoi.

The Ana Mandara is the first resort style accommodation to open in Nha Trang.

Situated on the outskirts of the town in private tropical gardens overlooking the ocean, the setting is wonderful. Accommodation consists of 68 rooms in 16 individual villas furnished with native wood and rattan.

Each room also has its own terrace. Adjacent to the private beach are the main restaurant and lounge bar which offer alfresco dining with a variety of traditional Vietnamese and international dishes.

The watersports centre provides snorkelling, diving, jetskiing, windsurfing and parasailing. Other resort facilities include tennis court, swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna and massage services.

The resort offers several excursions, the best of which would be the morning market. This means a 5am wake-up call, a cyclo ride to the market over the river followed, if desired, by breakfast of a bowl of noodles in a local restaurant. This can be booked directly with the hotel reception.
