You only have to witness the National Flag Raising ceremony in Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi to witness a nation united not simply by patriotism, but by a very strong sense of community and respect.

    From the UNESCO site of Halong Bay with its thousands of limestone outcrops to the Tonkinese Alps and lush green rice terraces of Sapa, Vietnam offers an abundance of stunning scenery and landscapes. Besides natural assets, there are plenty of other man-made photo opportunities such as the colourful floating markets of the Mekong Delta and the bustling streets of the Old Quarter in Hanoi.

Sapa & the Tonkinese Alps

Topas Ecolodge is a collection of 25 individual lodges set upon a hillside overlooking the magnificent Sapa valley. Each lodge is simply decorated, but all offer good comfort and en suite bathrooms, as well as private balconies with the most stunning views from any hotel anywhere in Vietnam.

The Ecolodge has been built to strict environmental guidelines and employs local people, which greatly benefits the nearby minority communities.

The restaurant and bar offer a range of drinks and good local Vietnamese food. Overall, this property offers comfort in a remote but beautiful location and is ideally situated for trekking, particularly to visit the Tay and Red Dao minorities.
