Starting in Hoi An you then follow the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the ethnic villages of the central highlands around Kon Tum and Buon Ma Thuot. Continuing south, you explore the former French hill retreat of Dalat before finishing in vibrant cosmopolitan Saigon.

Day by Day

Day 1London

Fly to Singapore from the UK.

Day 2Singapore

On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your centrally located accommodation in this vibrant cosmopolitan city.

Day 3Singapore - Danang - Hoi An

You will be met at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight in Danang in Central Vietnam. On arrival you will be met by your Vietnamese guide and transferred the short distance to the quaint UNESCO heritage riverside town of Hoi An.

Day 4Hoi An

Full day exploring historic Hoi An including a visit to My Son home to the grandest Cham ruins in Vietnam.

Day 5Hoi An

Full day at leisure to explore Hoi An at your own pace or spend a day on lovely Cao Dai beach.

Day 6Hoi An - Kon Tum

Leaving Hoi An travel inland to join the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Kon Tum stopping at Ngoc Hoi for lunch.

Day 7Kon Tum

Full day exploring Kon Tum and the surrounding area including village visits, some light trekking and a tour of the town itself.

Day 8Kon Tum - Buon Ma Thuot

Drive to Buon Ma Thuot, via Pleiku, famous for its battlefields during the Vietnam War.

Day 9Buon Ma Thuot

Day around Lak Lake including a trip across the lake on elephant back returning by dug out canoe.

Day 10Buon Ma Thuot - Dalat

Continue your journey south through the central highlands, passing through spectacular mountain scenery, to the former French colonial hill station of Dalat for an afternoon exploring this quirky town.

Day 11Dalat

Full day of gentle trekking around Tuyen Lam Lake enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Day 12Dalat - Saigon

Drive from Dalat to Saigon with numerous stops on route to break up the journey.

Day 13Saigon

Full day in Saigon where you can visit the infamous underground network of tunnels at Cu Chi and the main historical and cultural attractions of this buzzing metropolis.

Day 14Saigon - Singapore

Full final day at leisure before your transfer to the airport for your evening flight to Singapore and onto London.

Day 15London

Early morning arrival back into the UK.
