Day 2Bangkok - Hanoi

Arrive in the city of Hanoi and transfer to your hotel.

Day 3Hanoi

Enjoy a private half day city tour with your guide. Visit Ho Chi Minh`s former home, the Temple of Literature (the first university in Hanoi) and perhaps the Fine Arts Museum which has a wonderful collection of art and sculpture.

Day 4Hanoi

Early this morning enjoy a walking tour of Hanoi`s Old Quarter with its narrow streets and small bustling markets. Have an afternoon at leisure before taking the overnight train to Lao Cai.

Day 5Lao Cai - Bac Ha

On arrival into Lao Cai at the foot of the Tonkinese Alps you will be collected and transferred to Bac Ha. Spend the afternoon walking to some villages near the town.

Day 6Bac Ha - Hoang Su Phi

Early this morning you will be collected and driven to Hoang Su Phi, via the Wednesday market, Sin Cheng. Today you will pass some of the most spectacular rice terraces in Southeast Asia.

Day 7Hoang Su Phi

Spend the day exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby villages.

Day 8Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang City

Continue overland to Ha Giang city.

Day 9Ha Giang City - Dong Van

You have a full day of driving today to reach Dong Van, ready for the bustling Sunday markets tomorrow.

Day 10Dong Van - Ha Giang City

After visiting the busy morning market of Dong Van, continue on to the bustling town of Meo Vac, before returning to Ha Giang.

Day 11Ha Giang City

Spend the day exploring the surrounding countryside.

Day 12Ha Giang City - Hanoi

Today you have a full day of driving to reach Hanoi for your flight back to the UK via Bangkok.
