Excursions in Vietnam: Halong Jasmine Junk
All 24 cabins of the Halong Jasmine are beautifully furnished and spacious, with large picture windows offering panoramic views of Halong Bay’s spectacular limestone scenery.
Halong Jasmine Junk
A recent addition to the fleet of traditional Vietnamese junks operating on the bay, the Jasmine is one of the most comfortable yet.
The boat was three years in the making and lovingly crafted entirely by local ship-wrights. All 24 cabins are beautifully furnished and spacious, with large picture windows offering panoramic views of Halong Bay’s spectacular limestone scenery, while deluxe cabins and suites also have private balconies.
Although larger than some of the other junks on the bay, the Jasmine never feels crowded and has an expansive sun-deck, excellent restaurant and bar and plenty of quiet corners from which to enjoy the dramatic scenery of the bay.
