Living with Leopards: An evening with Jonathan and Angela Scott
Wednesday 19th September 2012
We are delighted to announce an evening with celebrated wildlife expert and presenter of 'Big Cat Diary’, Jonathan Scott and his wife Angela Scott, both award winning photographers, at the Royal Geographical Society in London on Wednesday, 19th September.
The talk will explore the challenges for communities sustaining a living on the borders of Yala National Park, Sri Lanka and the Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya; jewels of the natural world. The impact of living with leopards – arguably one of the most charismatic of the ‘Big Cats’ – and the challenges of photographing these secretive predators, will be highlighted through Jonathan and Angela’s compelling narrative and awe-inspiring imagery.
Respected naturalists, authors and passionate conservationists, the Scotts have travelled to the most remote regions, documenting the last great wilderness areas on the planet. We hope you can join us for an evening filled with enthralling stories and wonderful photographs.
Tickets, available through our charity partner, Friends of Conservation (FOC), are £15 each and funds raised will go towards community and conservation projects in Yala National Park.
