Friends of Conservation Friends of Conservation (FOC) is an international conservation organisation, with more than 25 years operational experience in the field. Originally founded to help prevent wildlife and habitat degradation in the Masai Mara - one of the most ecologically important regions of the world and a major destination for visitors – FOC’s range of activities includes:

  • Wildlife and habitat protection
  • Fuel efficiency and reforestation
  • Carbon-reduction projects
  • Environmental programmes providing education, health and other benefits to local communities in developing countries
  • Anti-poaching campaigns
  • Wildlife monitoring
  • Human / wildlife conflict management
  • Promoting sustainable tourism

In addition to running their own community and conservation programmes in Kenya, FOC also partners with other NGO’s with similar aims and objectives, operating in other African countries as well as Asia and South and Central America.

We also support the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve project in India.
