Audley have put together a unique guided tour including some of Namibia’s most famous areas combined with more remote highlights of this beautiful country. Accompanied at all times by expert guides you will experience Namibia’s remarkable scenery, desert-adapted wildlife and indigenous peoples.

You will travel to the Erongo Mountains and Damaraland, home of the desert-adapted elephant and the ancient Twyfelfontein rock art. Continuing to the Kunene region you will visit the Himba tribes and, if conditions permit, the remote Epupa Falls on the Angolan border. Then spend time game viewing in the western side of the Etosha National Park, a conservation research area where normal tourist traffic is not permitted. Himba WomenFinally travel northeast towards the Caprivi Strip to the Kavango region, a lush area of wetlands and waterways where the Kavango River forms the Namibia’s border with Botswana’s Okavango Delta; the scenery and wildlife provides a stunning contrast to Namibia’s desert landscapes.

From here return to Windhoek or add on an optional extension of two nights at Okonjima, home of the AfriCat Foundation’s cheetah and leopard rehabilitation programme. Alternatively we can organise extensions to other destinations in Namibia, please contact us for more details on the possibilities.
