Borneo is well-known for its orang-utans but these are by no means the only wildlife you will see here. Elephants, crocodiles and proboscis monkeys can also be spotted in abundance.
Kenya is the original home of the safari and the wildlife spotting here takes some beating. Witness mass wilderbeast crossing the Masai Mara during the great migration or leopard, lion and cheetah stalking their pray.
In Namibia elephant occur in hundred strong herds. Giraffe, wildebeest, impala, springbok and gemsbok are also common. Namibia is also home to an estimated 40% of Africa’s cheetah population.
Amongst the many game parks in South Africa, the Kruger is the most well-known. Here you can see Africa's Big Five, as well as hyena, zebra and many of the worlds most beautiful birds.
Tanzania is the country of wildlife documentaries and offers some of Africa’s most unique game viewing experiences. Ngorongoro has Africa’s densest populations of lion and spotted hyena, whilst Lake Manyara has tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingo.
Zambia’s wildlife is superb: impala, puku, lechwe, blue wildebeest, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, waterbuck and kudu are common, whilst antelope are particularly prolific.
