With poaching and habitat loss it's harder to find game parks and reserves where you can see the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo). We highlight some of the last few remaining.

A leopard in Timbavati Game Reserve, Kruger National Park, South Africa
The 'Big Five' (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) was a term originally coined by big-game hunters who regarded them as potentially the most dangerous of the animals they hunted.
Today, unfortunately, there are fewer-and-fewer places where you can see the Big Five in one park or reserve. However, there are still a few and we have listed these on our interactive map.
