If you're interested in a trekking holiday in Morocco, why not speak to one of our Morocco specialists directly, or fill in our online quote request form.
The highest peak in North Africa, Jebel Toubkal in Morocco is 4,167 metres high and presents a trek that is challenging but requires no particular mountaineering skills, just good fitness.
The recommended ascent is on the fourth day of a five day trek, allowing you time to acclimatise on the way up, although it is possible to do a two day ascent.
Most ascents set off from Imlil which is the trekking centre in the High Atlas and the nearby Kasbah Du Toubkal is a wonderful converted kasbah where you can relax and unwind after your return from the summit.

A six night itinerary, mixing trekking in the High Atlas Mountains with some time to discover the culture and history of Marrakesh.
The Anti Atlas is the hub of all commerce in Morocco’s grocery trade: banana and orange groves flourish amongst the extensive vegetable crops. The landscape is dominated by vast granite rock formations, and palm plantations line valley floors.
The Atlas Mountains are in fact three distinct ranges that divide the interior of the country into strips of lower lying land: the Middle Atlas, Anti-Atlas and High Atlas.
Stretching south and east from Ouarzazate, the Southern Oases Valleys are arguably the most beautiful area of the country. Towering gorges, steep canyon sides, verdant palm plantations and crumbling kasbahs dominate the landscape.
