The Elephant Festival is a unique event held annually in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The festival is held at the city stadium during March each year and starts with a procession of elephants, camels and horses followed by folk dancers. Later elephant races, elephant-polo matches and tug-of-war between elephants and men will be held.
