The end of September is post-Monsoon season in this area of India, and an ideal time to explore the wetland reserve in Bharatpur. Hundreds of species of bird live in this area, and in September the marshlands and lakes are inhabited by migratory birds as well as resident birds. Temperatures at this time of year are a pleasant 20-38°C (68-100°F).
