You begin your trip wtih seven nights on safari at a combination of the fantastic Norman Carr Safaris camps in the South Luangwa: the Luangwa has large populations of elephant, buffalo, smaller plains game, predators and a dazzling array of birdlife.
On your safari you will be taken out by the experienced safari guides on walking safaris to spot the game on foot, game drives and night drives.
You will be staying at a combination of Norman Carr's excellent camps either Kapani Lodge, Luwi Camp, Nsolo Camp, Muchenje Camp or Kakuli Camp. The combination of camps you will be staying at will not be confirmed until two weeks before departure however, you will benefit from large savings on the usual prices of a Norman Carr safari.
After your safari you will continue on to Lake Malawi where you will have four nights relaxing at the stunning Kaya Mawa Lodge. The lodge is perched on a rocky promontory on the island overlooking golden beaches.
From here you can snorkel in the Lake, take a boat trip around the island or walk to the small port where you will find the impressive St Peter's cathedral built over 100 years ago by missionaries. Or, you can just spend your time relaxing and watch the sun set over the Lake.
