Day 1: Fly to Moscow, private transfer on arrival.
Day 2: Morning, privately guided visit to the Kremlin.
Day 3: Day at leisure to explore Moscow.
Day 4: Take the day train to St Petersburg, private transfer on arrival.
Day 5: Explore the Hermitage this morning under your own steam.
Day 6: Privately guided tour to the summer palace of Peterhof.
Day 7: Day at leisure to continue exploring the city.
Day 8: Finish with a privately guided visit to the palace of Catherine the Great, before returning to the UK.
