Biography
After graduating with a Bsc in Marketing from Lancaster University, Charlotte spent two years travelling round the world-twice! She worked in a variety of hotels and lodges, building her knowledge and love of the travel business.
After returning to England, Charlotte decided to develop her career based on this passion, and has spent the last few years at Audley revisiting the monuments and sights of the vibrant North African and Arabian countries.
Highlights of her travels have included wadi bashing in Oman, exploring the Western Desert and Oases of Egypt and souq shopping in Marrakesh. When not working, Charlotte enjoys getting away to the coast, photography and playing badminton.
My Most Memorable Experience
Finding my way around the sprawling lattice of narrow streets in Marrakech has to rank in the top ten of my memorable travel experiences.
Getting lost and discovering hidden places is what it's all about in one of the most exciting, busy and evocative cities in Africa.
My Favourite Destination

Mount Maunganui has become a popular coastal resort for New Zealanders, with lovely views of the Bay of Plenty.
Having spent a few weekends here when living in nearby Rotorua, I have a particular love of the beach and have spent many an hour enjoying the sun and superb cuisine from the numerous cafes lining the beach. It has to classify as one of my favourite places in New Zealand.
My Favourite Accommodation

Set between two 30 metre-high dunes, the Desert Nights Camp is a luxury tented accommodation with a real feeling of peace and relaxation.
For me, the real selling points are the clear skies and star-lit nights and the local musicians that play for you while you dine in the middle of the desert-a truly unforgettable experience!
