Biography
Since an early age Charlotte has had a passion for travel and has been on many trips within Europe but this was never enough for her. Finally, when she met her fiancé they both decided to set off on around the world trip taking sabbatical leave. Spending nine months travelling the world, a majority of which was within Southeast Asia, Charlotte on her return decided that she wanted to share her fantastic experiences with others; she decided to pursue a career in travel and joined Audley.
Having recently returned to Thailand and Malaysia with Audley, Charlotte had the opportunity to explore the area further and experience the culture and amazing scenery that these countries have to offer. One of the most memorable experiences was canoeing down the Sok River in Khao Sok National Park (Thailand), where, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the rainforest she saw many hornbills overhead and gibbons jumping between the trees.
My Most Memorable Experience
One of my memorable experiences was a Segway tour around Chiang Mai, this was a fun and exciting way to explore the City. Visiting all the amazing temples, understanding the history behind the city and gliding up the streets was just brilliant.
My Favourite Destination
Pangkor Laut is a private island off Malaysia and is one of the more beautiful islands I have seen. The lush, white sands and crystal clear waters in Emerald Bay are just stunning.
My Favourite Accommodation
Staying in Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp was one of the highlight experiences I had. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of gibbons and views of the beautiful tropical rainforest. The low morning mists overhead are just breath taking.
