Claiming to be the highest Alpine resort hotel in Japan at 2,500 m, a stay in the Hotel Tateyama is definitely a great way to begin your time in the Japanese Alps.
Located in Murodo and close to the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine route, this hotel gives you a great access point for short walks around Murodo or further a-field into the Alps.
