Formerly known as the Auberge Saint-Pierre, Le Saint-Pierre Auberge Distinctive is a charming, historical property that has stood in the heart of Québec's Old Port district for over 200 years. Its high ceilings and large windows looking out over cobbled streets give the property a European feel, and some of the suites offer fantastic views of the St Lawrence River.
Rooms and suites are spacious, light and filled with modern comforts, ensuring that the old is mixed with the new. With hardwood floors, exposed brickwork and large fireplaces, the property offers a homely, characterful base for your time in the city.

Rooms
There are four different room and suite types, all looking out over the historic port area through large windows. All of the rooms have plenty of natural light and wooden floors, with some featuring exposed brick walls for additional character. The majority of rooms have jetted baths in their en suite bathrooms, and all are well-equipped with amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee machines, HDTVs, air conditioning and hair dryers. Guests can choose to have a queen size bed or two double beds in the entry-level Classic rooms, while some of the Superior rooms feature a king size bed. Mini Suites offer more space, featuring an open-plan bedroom and living area, while the loft-style Hotel Suites have a separate living room with a hide-away bed for additional guests, making them great for families.
Location
The hotel is located on Rue Saint Pierre, the historic financial street where Québec’s bankers once did business. Now a quiet street containing a couple of boutique hotels, the local area offers some fantastic restaurant and bar choices, all within a five-minute walk of the hotel. The renowned Le Petit Champlain is a five-minute walk from the hotel, which is particularly charming at night when the crowds have gone and the outside dining areas are lit by candlelight. The funicular to take you up the cliff to the upper town is also a five-minute walk away, offering easy access to Québec's UNESCO World Heritage area.
Food and drink
The hotel provides a complimentary à la carte breakfast for all guests, with a range of European and Canadian menu options available. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel, but the excellent range of restaurants in the local area more than make up for this, and the hotel's staff are always happy to make recommendations.
Families
The hotel offers a babysitting service, and the Hotel Suites have an extra bed to accommodate families.
Facilities and activities
There's a cosy library, complete with fireplace and complimentary coffee, and guests have access to a fitness centre and same-day laundry service.
