Found in the central section of Kruger, not far from the Orpen Gate is Satara Rest Camp. It is surrounded by some superb grazing plains where a multitude of game can be seen. There are three dams and six waterholes close to the camp so the game is usually found nearby whilst on day trips from the camp. A few of the rooms are close to the perimeter fence and the accommodation is in en suite bungalows, scattered about the property.

The rest camp has all the amenities required including daily servicing of bungalows. There is a shop at which you can buy anything you should need, as well as a restaurant which can offer both breakfast and dinner.
