Apsara Rive Droite

Located on the banks of the Khan River, the Apsara Rive Droite is one of the newest additions to Luang Prabang's hotels.

Its positioning means that it is located away from the main town, with a minute-long boat ride needed to cross the river. Being perched at this beautiful spot however does give the hotel enviable views, and provides a tranquil spot to relax when not exploring the town.

The hotel itself has the feel of a Mediterranean villa, with whitewashed walls, nine spacious rooms with either a terrace or veranda and a superb pool. There is a small restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with another option of dining at the Rive Droite's sister hotel across the river.

Bicycles are available to guests for exploring Luang Prabang as well as the hotel's own tuk-tuk.

Decorated with contemporary art, the Apsara Rive Droite is a tasteful and modern option and a lovely choice for those who enjoy more modern surroundings.
