Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Plaine Magnien.

  • Upon arrival at the airport you will make your way through to the arrivals hall where you will meet your driver who will take you to your hotel. The journey will take around 45 minutes as you travel along the south coast.

  • During your stay at Shanti Maurice you will have lots of activities included from windsurfing to sailing and snorkelling to boat trips, tennis or even cooking classes. You can enjoy these activities, or perhaps you would prefer to find a comfortable sunlounger and snooze on the beach!

  • You have time to relax and unwind at the hotel. The pool is beautiful and makes the perfect place to relax with a book. Alternatively, you might treat yourself to some time in the spa or a wander through the tropical gardens.

  • The south coast of Mauritius is one of the most scenic parts of the country, so you could head out today either with a driver or of your own accord to get to know the area a little. If you enjoy history and culture, we recommend a visit to Port Louis, alternatively you could opt to enjoy your own slice of paradise on the beach.

  • A great way to see the island is to explore by catamaran. A lovely place to cruise is the Île aux Cerfs which is a little way north of the hotel, off the east coast. You can snorkel from the boat, sunbathe on the deck and enjoy a great seafood lunch.

  • Late morning you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to the east of the island to Constance Prince Maurice, your base for the next four nights.

  • Day at leisure at the hotel. There are a number of activities which we can offer should you choose to be a little more active. Hiring a car is a great way to explore the island independently, giving you the freedom to visit some of the small villages and meet the charming local people.

  • Spend the day enjoying the many facilities at Constance Prince Maurice, or you can venture out to explore more of the island. We can arrange for a private driver for the day, or take a more leisurely approach and borrow a bicycle to find yourself a secluded sandy beach.

  • Today you may like to spend the day exploring the island of Deux Cocos. After walking around the island a buffet lunch is served. The afternoon is yours to relax on the white shores.

  • This morning you will be collected from your hotel and driven back to the airport in time for your flight.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
