Australia family tour: Sydney, national parks & Great Barrier Reef

The whole family will spend the morning in the water learning to ride the waves on Bondi Beach, a quintessential Aussie experience. The rest of the day is for you to enjoy at leisure at the beach.

This morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a full-day tour of the majestic Blue Mountains. As you head into the mountains, you will stop at a local farm to see some of Australia's native wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas. You will then continue up into the Blue Mountains to visit a number of stunning lookout points over the Jameson Valley, including the famous Three Sisters in Katoomba. Throughout the day, there will be chances to visit many more of the Blue Mountains' iconic sights, including the 180 m Govetts Leap Falls and Blue Mountains Botanic Garden.

This morning, a private driver will collect you from your accommodation to transfer you to the airport in time for your onward flight to the Gold Coast. Upon arrival, you will collect your vehicle and head into the rainforest region to stay at O'Reilly's Rainforest Guesthouse for two nights. Here, you will have the chance to take some of the stunning walking trails in this UNESCO World Heritage-listed national park and marvelling at the tropical birdlife and wildlife endemic to the region.

Today is at leisure to explore Lamington National Park further and to try some of the included tours at your accommodation.

Make your way north from Lamington National Park to the Sunshine Coast today. Along the drive, you might wish to stop in the Glass House Mountains to marvel at the views and take one of the short walking trails in the region. Continue onto Noosa, where you will spend the next three days exploring the beautiful beach destination.

On your tour today, you will head north of Noosa along 70 kilometres of iconic beaches with amazing scenery and some marine wildlife. You will drive to Double Island Point Lighthouse to take in the 270-degree ocean view before heading to Rainbow Beach to see the colourful sand mounds. Stop at Rainbow Beach Surf Club for lunch before looping back to Noosa.

This morning, you will depart the Sunshine Coast and drive back to Brisbane Airport in time for your flight to Hamilton Island. Upon arrival on Hamilton Island, you will be transported to your accommodation, and you have the rest of the afternoon free to relax.

Head to Hamilton Island Marina this morning for your full-day reef cruise. Your Cruise Whitsundays vessel will take you to Hardy Reef, where you'll spend over three hours snorkeling, and also have the chance to scuba dive, take a glass bottom boat ride, or take out a semi-submersible.
