Vietnam was Audley’s first ever destination and never ceases to enchant us. With its sophisticated cities, beautiful beaches, outstanding natural landscapes and rich history — including seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites — it has a mesmerising allure.

This tour takes in the country’s highlights and is led by an experienced and knowledgeable local guide who can unlock the charm and character of this fascinating country. In addition to exploring Vietnam’s modern cities you will discover its ancient traditions and have the chance to experience the beautiful limestone karst scenery of Halong Bay and the towering peaks of the Mai Chau Valley at a relaxed pace.

In the capital Hanoi, a railway market tour and a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter will reveal a side of this charming city that visitors seldom see. For a taste of Vietnam’s imperial past you will visit Hue with its impressive mausoleums of past emperors, and beguiling Hoi An with its winding narrow streets of wooden merchants’ houses. A short trip in a traditional basket boat along the Hoi An River demonstrates the skills of local fishermen while a two-night stay in the Mai Chau Valley allows you to experience rural Vietnam at its finest.

What makes an Audley Group Tour?

We design each of our group tours with the same philosophy as our tailor-made journeys - trips that allow you to explore the highlights of a country, while getting beneath the surface to discover the real people, places and cultures.
