Thirty kilometres away from El Calafate on a hill rising above the Anita Valley is the Eolo Lodge, perched on 3,000 hectares of its own land. The lodge affords beautiful views across Lago Argentino and on a clear day, as far as Chile's famous Torres del Paine.
Based on the style of a traditional Patagonian estancia with a modern twist, the Eolo's 17 rooms are comfortable and stylish, whilst its communal living areas are ideal places to enjoy the organised discussions about the local flora and fauna or just to curl up with a book and relax. The lodge has an excellent restaurant and bar with stunning views across the valley and also boasts a small indoor pool.
