Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa offers the height of luxury, nesting in a quiet secluded valley of the Blue Mountains. The 40 contemporary, individual suites are beautifully appointed and come complete with a private deck area and temperature-controlled swimming pools. The accommodation is set among 16 square kilometres of protected conservation reserve area and so wildlife is never too far away.

Dinner and breakfast each comprise of multiple courses to tantalise the taste buds and are served in the traditional hunting lodge-styled homestead that also makes the most of the valley views. Downstairs to the main dining room is the more casual Country Kitchen, which provides wholesome lunches and snacks throughout the day. Dining at Emirates One&Only is a great opportunity to sample the hand-picked selection of locally produced wines including lesser known vineyard regions of Mudgee and Orange.

The resort offers a 'conservation hour' as part of the package that gives guests the opportunity to take part in one of the many activities that aim to protect the local species. This could include tree planting, weeding and watering; surveying wildlife; birdwatching; or constructing nesting boxes for birds and possums. This is also a great chance to get close to some native animals such as kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies and wombats, as well as many species of birds, reptiles and frogs.

There are also a number of additional activities available that offer plenty more opportunities to get out and enjoy the magnificent scenery, including horse-trail riding (for experienced riders only), mountain-biking and nature walks. For the less adventurous or those just looking to unwind, the Timeless Spa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a treatment — with the mountains and valley as a stunning backdrop.
