Turneffe Flats

Turneffe Flats is located on a private point at the north end of Blackbird Caye on the Turneffe Atoll, surrounded by reef and a wade-able bone fishing flat.

Access to the hotel is by boat from Belize City, taking approximately an hour and a half. Owners, Craig and Karen, have been successfully running the place for 30 years. The hotel consists of a main lodge and eight beach cabanas with en suite facilities and air-conditioning and comfortable deck facing the sea. There is also a three bedroom Reef villa and a three bedroom Garden villa.

The rooms do not have televisions however there is a common area with access to a television. The three bedroom villas have a television, central lounge area and small kitchenette. There is also an exercise room. It is an excellent place for saltwater fishing, scuba-diving and snorkelling.

If you wish to arrive by helicopter, there is a helipad at the resort, please contact your consultant if you wish to explore the cost of upgrading to this method of transportation. If you have a preference for a beachfront cabana or a room in one of the villas, please let us know at the time of booking and we will put in the request.

This is a peaceful, friendly, relaxed property offering absolutely spectacular snorkelling, diving and bone-fishing. Delicious hearty set meals are served up in their restaurant using local produce, such as conch ceviche.
